Events, workshops
I’ve worked on many events and workshops for clients and internal initiatives since 2016. I’ve made floor plans, created materials, created presentations, implemented tech, worked with vendors, captured photos, audio and videos, and broken down the events.Team challenge is revealed.
I created this board on site with falcon board that I had directly printed on by a local vendor. The carriage bolts and u-bolts I brought with me—I depleted two Daly City Home Depots of 30ct 1-inch u-bolts. I had created a prototype in my garage and was prepared to assemble this at the conference.
A coworker and I assisted on either end of the exhibit as people ran the strings through their responses. When I began to break this display down, a conference attendee came over just to have one last look at it. We got to chatting about it and he said that he loved the display and the activity. Moments of appreciation like this are the ultimate reward for a lot of very hard, back-straining work that was put into something.

Prints on assembled falcon board. Printed by vendor and assembled by me on-site.
The lighting was uneven for this display but we couldn’t alter it. :(
An example of one of many quick setups I’ve worked on.
Prints on assembled cardboard boxes. I printed and assembled all of them.

Rich Talent Group/SYPartners event at The Presidio, San Francisco. This view is the realization of the toiled-over floor plan. This was a full SYP Brand-Team effort.
Printed assets for the event.
This was a leadership gathering that took place in the SYPartners’ founder’s home—the old town library in Mill Valley, CA. I worked closely with the founder at his home for the three weeks leading up to the event.
All of the in-house-produced notebooks laid out and ready to go.
One of the eight salons taking place around the property. I rented audio recorders for each session so that I could output a transcript capture after the event.
A worshop exercise for attendees. Blue and white pencils atop a black worksheet made for a beautiful output.
A tea ceremony taking place live with a tea expert in Japan. I was in charge of all the tech for this session. Our IT guy in NY was a great and frequent resource for me to get everything hooked up. Aside from the lights flickering because the tea kettles used a lot of power—ha—the tech was a success.
